Finding Fishing Gear for Children

At any age children, young and old have fun fishing. A general rule of thumb when fishing with children is to remember the younger the age the shorter the attention span. If this is the first time fishing for the child having their own fishing pole and tackle box adds to the adventure (5+). If this first fishing trip happens during vacation, perhaps rental fishing equipment for the child makes for financial and/or packing sense. Or perhaps your child has reached the age in which you feel they are ready to share your passion for fishing.
